Niagara Frontier Recreation and Parks Society
About Us

The Niagara Frontier Recreation and Parks Society is established for the promotion of leisure services in Western New York.  It is comprised of professionals from throughout the leisure service industry who are interested in staying informed of events in the field at the local, state and national levels.
The NFRPS offers the following functions:
Annual Western New York Recreation and Parks Conference
Training sessions for recreation personnel and volunteers
Continuing Education Credits
Awards/Scholarships to outstanding individuals
Community Leisure/Recreation service recognition
District status with NYSRPS
Professional, volunteer and student achievement recognition
Job referral--both formal and informal
Bi-Monthly meetings of society membership
Advocacy and association with local, state and federal legislators for voting and supporting Leisure Service issues
